R2K President McLean claims victory in Kogarah
R2K’s Lachlan McLean has secured a spot on Kogarah Municipal Council after attracting 1,367 votes in Saturday’s Local Government election.
McLean, an Independent for Kogarah’s North Ward, defeated a host of other Independents and the Chinese Unity Party to gain representation in the Ward that includes Kogarah, Carlton, Beverley Park, Kogarah Bay and Sans Souci.
OKI Jubilee Stadium and the St.George Leagues Club are situated in the middle of North Ward.
“I thank the residents of North Ward for putting their faith in me and I will do everything possible to look after the best interests of North Ward and oppose inappropriate residential development,” said McLean.
