OKI Jubilee tops 'Gong on crowd average!
For the second season in succession, Kogarah's OKI Jubilee Stadium has recorded a higher NRL crowd average than Wollongong's WIN Stadium.
Kogarah finished the season with an average attendance of 14,975 compared to Wollongong's average of 13,988.
Kogarah's superior record is particularly impressive considering the blockbuster matches that were allocated to WIN Stadium.
While Kogarah hosted the important local derby against the Sharks, WIN Stadium gained blockbuster matches against Penrith, Canterbury, Newcastle and Brisbane.
The St.George Bank Dragons also held a better success rate at Kogarah in 2004, winning 75% of their matches compared to 57% at WIN Stadium.
The Dragons have now played 385 matches at Kogarah since 1950, recording 263 victories, 112 losses and 10 draws.
In all six years of the joint venture, WIN Stadium has finished behind the Dragons' Sydney home venues on crowd average.
