Isabell the Leader
2 March 2007
Isabell Stojanovski will experience one of rugby league's greatest honours tomorrow night when she leads the St.George Bank Dragons onto Telstra Stadium for the 24th Charity Shield.
The 10 year old girl from Connell's Point, will have the thrill of joining Happy Dragon after winning a contest in the St.George Leader to run out with Saints' mascot.

"I'm excited and can't wait," said Isabell when asked about how she felt after winning the Leader's contest. Surprisingly Isabell replied "not at all" when asked if she is nervous about leading her beloved Saints onto Homebush.
Special thanks goes to Danny Robinson (St.George Leagues Club General Manager), who kindly donated a St.George Bank Dragons' jersey to Isabell so she could look the part for the special occasion.
Congratulations to Telstra and the St.George Leader for running and co-ordinating the competition and having our young supporters be involved in the greatest game of all.
In 2007 proceeds from the Charity Shield will be committed to the St.George Foundation who in-turn will donate money to the St George and Wollongong Public Hospitals in the St.George and Illawarra regions.
More information about the St.George Foundation can be located here:
Isabell is the niece of R2K member Nick Stojanovski.
