Jubilee Oval will have an additional 1,080 seats after Kogarah Council approved a Development Application to extend tiered seating at the northern end of the Oval along Engligh Street.
The Development Application was made by the St.George Leagues Club and Kogarah Council steering committee to Kogarah Council as the trustee of the land.
Last year, the Council approved Development Applications for the construction of permanent tiered seating to the northern and southern end of Jubilee Oval and the replacement of bench seating, providing an extra 2,200 seats.
The Council has also approved new lighting, a new entrance and turnstiles to the grounds in English Street and a new training ground next to the Princes Highway.
