THE St George Illawarra Dragons will play the majority of their NRL home
games at WIN Stadium next year.
Seven matches will be played at the Wollongong ground with the northern grandstand expected to be in use by April 14.
The other five home fixtures will be at the Sydney Football Stadium on top of the pre-season Charity Shield match against Souths on February 16.
"We are able to list the actual days of four of our 12 home matches and the opportunity to schedule specific dates for several other Dragons' matches is a possibility prior to the season kick-off," Dragons CEO Peter Doust said in a statement today.
"Wollongong Sports Trust and building contractors have now guaranteed the new northern grandstand at WIN Stadium will be complete and operational for our April 14 match against Parramatta."
